N.Technology next to announce
MSC Organisation have now announced they have entered the 2010 F1 championship – no, this has nothing to do with Michael Schumacher, but they own the N.Technology team, formerly Nordauto, who ran Alfa Romeo’s touring car operations for a number of years, as well as a programme of development for the Honda Accord in the WTCC last year and the International Formula Master junior series.
Involved in the N.Technology bid are the team’s founders Mauro Sipsz and Monica Bregoli and the CEO of Eurosport Angelo Codignoni, technical director Andrea Adamo, and the former MD of GP2 team Trident Racing Alessandro Alunni Bravi – some interesting figures in there, proving this is a serious bid, although very much an outsider for a place unless the FOTA teams are indeed left off the entry list on June 12th.
However, I seem to remember N.Technology had shut down after the 2008 season and Honda’s confirmation that they would not be supporting the WTCC project into a 2nd season. Unless of course they decided to focus on a new project…
